The Will of Heaven is my story of how I overcame a debilitating drug and alcohol addiction—rising from the courtrooms of my past to the grass plains of Kenya as a conservation research scientist to study a group of elephants I’ve followed since I was eight years old.
Part biography, part revelation, it is my hope that my story will inspire others to reach further than they ever thought they could. Above all, it conveys a strong message of hope, both for the elephants fighting to survive poaching and for alcoholics fighting to survive addiction.
