Elephant Clipart, Reading Comprehension Worksheets, and More…

Everything in my Teachers Pay Teachers store begins with elephants, because elephants are what made me fall in love with learning. I started designing these resources for 5th graders because that is the same age I was when I first became obsessed with elephants. All of my classroom resources are designed to bring that same sense of wonder into the classroom, pairing reading comprehension worksheets and engaging resources with a subject students genuinely get excited about. Each resource is built around real elephant facts and stories, so students aren’t just filling out boring worksheets—they’re discovering something. And unlike anything else I could find out there, my elephant clipart captures elephants the way they actually look in the wild. From torn ears to broken tusks, these are the details that reflect the real lives of elephants in their natural habitat.

These elephant-themed reading comprehension task cards explore topics students find fascinating. They include elephant adaptions, memory, keystone species, communication and more. Every card aligns with Common Core standards and engages students with meaninful informational text. As, a science-based elephant expert, I write all content and ensure each graphic accurately reflects real elephants. Task cards are available in English, Spanish, and French.

My elephant clipart collections feature both African and Asian elephant designs, each built around the authentic physical details that make these elephants unique. Unlike anything else available, my graphics capture the real characteristics most clipart ignores—torn ears, broken tusks, stubbed tails and the subtle pink freckling found in pictures of Asian elephants. Each collection includes circular frames highlighting African vs. Asian elephants side by side, from the tip of the trunk to the number of toes. I designed each part using my deep knowledge of African elephants vs. Asian elephant differences.
